Dave Ortega







Dave Ortega is a cartoonist based in Somerville, MA. He has taught comics at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and was previously a visiting artist there and at the Montserrat College of Art. In 2016, he was invited to create an interactive educational comics project in collaboration with the Art Lab at the Institute of Contemporary Art/ Boston. His comics have been featured at the Small Press Expo, Comic Arts Brooklyn, New York Art Book Fair, Latino Comics Expo, Grand Comics Expo, Brooklyn Zine Fest and more. His alter ego is as Programming Coordinator/ Production Assistant at Somerville Community Access Television.
